Betsy has observed and worked side by side with hundreds of CxOleaders for the past 20 years and has seen just about every variation of how Leadership Teams operate and execute (both successfully and not so successfully). She deeply understands and has experienced firsthand when the team of individuals charged with leading the organization are not aligned, focused, and working as one, the rest of the organization suffers. Her superpowers include the ability to see, name, and discuss the "elephants in the room" and the ability to empathetically deliver honest and open feedback.

 

Betsy started her own coaching and consulting firm, Cross Impact Coaching, in 2014 when she realized the work she loved to do and the impact it made was desperately needed in organizations around the world. Her passions include public speaking, microblogging, asking the tough questions, and laughing. When she isn't supporting amazing leadership teams, she loves to spend time on the lake, traveling around the world with her husband and two teenage boys, impromptu happy hours with her friends and playing ball with her two labs.

 

Betsy is a published author providing thought leadership to both the agile and project management communities and speaks internationally on topics around leadership, corporate culture, and achieving organizational agility. She just completed her first TED talk in conjunction with the TED@PMI partnership to be released in September 2020.
